    “What Makes a Hit Song” Project

  • Utilized Python and Spotify API to collect data on 5,300 hit songs (100 from each year since 1970) in a MySQL database hosted with AWS RDS.
  • Queried with SQL for 12 characteristics of hit songs, such as average tempo and length, and to uncover trends over time.
  • Utilized Tableau for dashboarding, to create data visualizations presenting my insights.

  • Developed a cloud-hosted resume with AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53), using full-stack (HTML, CSS, JS, Python) and DevOps skills, with custom domain and HTTPS SSL certificate.

  • Meticulously tested, programmed, and packed each piece of gear for transport to Fiji at gear rental facility in LA.
